Back on the FLC1200 navigation aids buoys trial ...

During February 2016 the FLC1200 navigation aids buoy has been fully tested in order to validate the theorical behaviour of the buoy in the current. The trials ocured close to the Port of l'Estaque, a nice little village near Marseille.

Despite of a cold and rainy weather (not easy for our team!), the results are more than satisfacing as showed on our video. The FLC1200 navigation aids buoy can be used up to 4 knots without any problem.

The FLC1200 buoy is the smaller of FullOceans range with a diameter of 1,2 meters. The float and the removable mast are fully manufactured in polyethylene, and the structure is in galvanized steel. Very easy to deploy with the 2 lifting eyes, the removable cast iron ballast and large mooring point, this navigation aids buoy is the most cost effective product in the market! The FLC1200 buoy can be equipped with Carmanah Sabik self contained LED lanterns.
